Norfolk Broads & Railway Today we combine a nostalgic steam train ride with a cruise on the Norfolk Broads. Commence at Aylsham, where we join the Bure Valley Railway for a scenic nine mile journey to Wroxham. At Wroxham we join a boat cruise around the Broads. Next, we travel through some of the delightful Broads villages, such as Woodbastwick, with its diminutive green and thatched cottages.
Norwich A free day for you to explore the most complete medieval city in Britain. A visit to the Cathedral is a must, also the Norman Castle and cobbled Elm Hill, or you may fancy a cruise on the River Wensum. The shopping is excellent, or just relax and watch the world go by.
Royal Sandringham Sandringham has been the private home of four generations of British monarchs since 1862. The house, set in 60 acres of stunning gardens, is perhaps the most famous stately home in Norfolk. Our excursion includes entrance to the House, Museum, Gardens & visitors centre. (Cautionary note: A visit to Sandringham will not possible if the Royal Family are in residence).
